For me there is no greater honor
than serving people and their horses
Years
of training some of the most difficult and dangerous horses led me to streamline my training techniques for the quickest
most safe and effective results without using fear or pain. No matter whether you are
a beginner or long time horse owner - no matter your horse's temperament, breed or type of riding you do you
can apply these techniques that invoke your horse’s natural instinct for quick and effective learning with
a fun and safer approach.
What is WHolistic Horsemanship?
WHolistic Horsemanship is a training method working with the whole horse.Horses are genetically
wired to have a herd leader within their herd at all times. When you are with
your horse you are a herd of two therefore your horse requires you to be their herd leader.WHolistic Horsemanship techniques invoke your horse’s natural instinct to recognize you as their herd leader
without using fear, pain or exhaustion.
Frequently, the source of behavior and
training problems are pain or health issues that require treatment implementing appropriate veterinary care, equine dentistry, chiropractic, nutrition analysis, barefootrehab
etc.
By applying WHolistic
Horsemanship methods and techniques you address the source of behavior and training problems while redirecting the behavior
for positive lasting change and harmony between you and your horse.
WHolistic Horsemanship methods and techniques are simple and easy to applymaking
quick effort for a safer relationship between you and your horse. When
dealing with a new or long term behavior problem consider
Problems are not always training issues

You say that 'women often get mixed signals about being too soft with horses.' Mixed signals from whom?
MW:The mixed signals come from statements made by trainers mocking
women or making fun of us because we (women) call our horses precious, lovely, or sweetness expressing terms of endearment.
Being mocked and made fun of gives women the impression they are wrong to display their affection and that their horse won’t
respect them.

What people are saying about Missy's
WHolistic Horsemanship program
I got a glimpse of your presentation in Spokane this last weekend. I am one of those
nutty old women training my own young horse and we're learning as we go. I have struggled so much with the different mehtods
and have just not felt comfortable with what I've been and/or trying to do. One step forward, one step back. I purchased your
DVD's and we will be starting your program this week and I am so excited to not get drug across the manure piles and have
my girls constantly upset! Thank you so much for passing on your methods and I am sure the girls and I will be a lot more
successful in the future using those methods that I so much have believed in and used but have been criticized for by long
time horse people. I hope to meet you in person one day and take one of your retreats. Again, thank you for your knowledge
and bravery to present it! Rawline, Spokane, WA
The Clinic Highlights DVD is SUPER!!! I felt like I was right there at the barn. This
way, I can refer to it time and time again when I forget what you've said. I love it! I am looking forward to getting the
other DVD's. You explain things in such a clear manner and with my addled brain I can't even begin to tell you how much I
appreciate it. I know Timber and I are going to get a lot out of them. As far as I'm concerned you have the best approach
out there. I am convinced that dealing with the WHOLE horse is the answer. It has sure benefited Timber and me. Sue S, Drain,

Hi Missy, I just
wanted to give you an update on my horse Magnum. I had e-mailed you a little while ago about having a hard time joining up.
It happened! It was such a thrill of accomplishment. I just couldn't believe
it. Thanks for all your help.Lisa, PA
I bought your bitless bridle at the Celebrate the horse festival in WA recently and I love it. Everyone at my barn was
so impressed with how well it worked for my girl. We were wondering if you ever do any clinics in WA. We would love to have
a clinic at our barn. Thanks very much for your time. Corrie Brown, WA
Missy, My family purchased the all in one plus reins in gold on July 5th (my birthday) and I was really
pleased to be able to share the story about our rescue bay mare from an auction. What better way to celebrate a birthday
then to better the life of our horse? We tried out the bridle today and our wonderful girl loved it!! She would
hardly back up with a bit in her mouth, but my daughter got her to back up the full length of the arena for the first
time! She is such a loving gal and we are so blessed. I am so looking forward to the dvd that I won in the
drawing. Thanks so much for everything! May God Bless, Susan Brown
Hi Missy, I wanted to let you know that I love the ALL-IN-ONE rope halter bridle I got from you in Albany. Stash
works so well in it. Just the lightest pressure and he responds. Looking forward to a great spring and summer of riding. Leslie

I just used my new ALL-IN-ONE halter today! I like it. Good idea. It will be fun to review some of your concepts
on the DVD. I used the low stress join up today with my new Kiger mare. She understood what I was talking about right away.
